The Kleinanlegerschutzgesetz (small investor protection act) which came into force in July 2015 stipulates that providers of investments should send its investors the investment information sheet for every product. This also applies to crowdfunding platforms like iFunded. The Investment Information Sheet (Vermögensanlagen-Informationsblatt or VIB) can be a maximum of three pages and must concisely and clearly inform about the investment product. The BaFin only verifies whether the VIB is present, it does not verify the content of the document.
